Why A Reformed Church in Los Angeles?
The Los Angeles RP Church has been a congregation since March 11, 1904. We are not a new work, but a continuing testimony of Christ’s care to our city. We believe that Jesus Christ desires a testimony in the city of Los Angeles since his kingship extends over all places! This means that even in urban centers, we are called to be salt and light for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In an age where many congregations are moving out to the suburbs, we believe that Christ has called us here for Gospel proclamation, restoration, and reformation!
What are our commitments to Los Angeles?We are a congregation set in a culturally diverse area of Los Angeles. We are dedicated to the biblical worship of God, the teaching of historic Reformed Christian theology, the nurture, service and fellowship of the church, and the spread of the gospel.
